Peck/Benak Engineering Achievement Scholarship

The Dr. Ralph Peck - Dr. Joseph Benak Engineering Achievement Scholarship was established in 2000 by the Geotechnical Committee of the Nebraska Section, from proceeds from the annual Geotechnical Conferences.  This scholarship is awarded annually to students enrolled in the College of Engineering & Technology, majoring in Civil Engineering. Students may be enrolled in any campus of the University of Nebraska.

bulletTuition and reimbursement amount is $1000 annually.
bulletPreference given to candidates holding junior or senior class standing.
bulletCandidates will have cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
bulletCandidates will have expressed interest in pursuing careers in the area of Geotechnical Engineering.
bulletPreference given to members of ASCE Student Chapter with good standing.
bulletPreference given to candidates with practical experience in geotechnical engineering or related fields.
bulletScholarship may be renewed upon reapplication.
